A few years ago, I had what looked like success. A career, social gatherings, travel, friends everywhere I went. But I was crying—on my way to work, between meetings, on my way home. Not because my body had given out, but because my soul was screaming that I was so far from my path, I couldn’t recognize myself anymore.

I was surrounded by people but starving for real connection. Surface-level conversations in wellness circles and spiritual gatherings that never quite went deep enough. I had friends, but not the kind who could reflect back what I was actually going through.

So I stopped. I sat with myself. I meditated, journaled, and asked myself questions—the kind that don’t have easy answers, the kind you carry with you while washing dishes or driving, the kind that slowly reshape how you see your life.

Then, at a retreat in Costa Rica, everything shifted. We spoke with raw honesty—no masks, no performance. We witnessed each other. And I thought: What if this kind of connection could happen anywhere?

I moved to Ibiza to find out.
